Sunspots or stains of old age

Over time, as a result of chronically accumulated sunlight, well-defined brown spots appear on the skin in areas exposed to the sun such as the face, neckline, shoulders and/or back of the hands. These spots, called lentigines or age spots, are usually accompanied by a thinning of the skin and small red capillaries, reflecting a photo-aged skin.

These spots can be completely removed by the use of pulsed light combined with non-ablative fractionated laser, which allows a comfortable treatment, without formation of conspicuous crusts, and which improves the overall appearance of the skin due to the increase of the collagen synthesis. Typically, a minimum of three sessions is required to achieve the desired therapeutic effect. The discomfort for the patient is minimal and the removal of the spots occurs in a discreet and painless way, so it is not necessary to alter the rhythm of life.
