Vascular lesions

Vascular lesions appear as a normal sign of skin aging, as a consequence of accumulated solar damage from infancy or as a manifestation of circulatory or birth disorders. There are all shapes and sizes. They can be small spider veins or telangiectasias, ruby points, varicose veins, cuperosis, spots in “Port wine” or angiomas.

It’s not strictly necessary to treat them since they do not pose a problem for health, but it is unsightly.

There are a variety of possible treatments, although the treatment of choice for its precision, effectiveness and safety is the use of the laser.

Vascular laser

The Neodimi- YAG 1064 laser effectively, safely and permanently removes vascular spider veins, permanent redness of the face, varicose veins or ruby points selectively while respecting the surrounding skin. The effect is observed within a few days of the first session. The treatment protocol is variable according to the type of lesion to be treated. Thus, the ruby points or the venous lakes usually disappear with a single session; while couperose or varicose veins of the legs require a minimum of three sessions for complete elimination separated every 4-6 weeks.

The pulsed or laser light passes through the patient’s skin, transforming into heat, favoring the elimination of vascular lesions. The cooling system of the laser head allows a comfortable and fast treatment without significant discomfort.

Through this treatment it isn’t necessary to decrease the habitual rhythm of life and to allow the immediate reincorporation of the daily activity.
